Hostal Mama Hilda is happy to offer horse treks to all our guests. The guides are local villagers who also help take care of the horses that are part of the family. The horses are well used to riders of all different levels and ages, and a regularly ridden by one of Mama Hilda's youngest grandchildren (6 years old).

The treks vary in duration, from just a few hours trek through the cloud forest, to full day treks to the Quilotoa Crater lake.
